Besana in Brianza can proudly boast 5 agritourisms, one of which has just been recognized, Cascina Sbianca , a record for our province which has a total of 25 facilities. The leader of the Lega in the Lombardy Region and municipal councilor in Besana in Brianza, Alessandro Corbetta, explains: ours is a favorable territory, rich in paths and agricultural companies that make 0 km products their strong point. Factors that are also attracting young people to invest in land and livestock with new ideas for development and environmental protection. The peculiarity of Besana is above all its large extension (compared to the average of the municipalities of Brianza) which places our town third in the entire province with over 16 square kilometers and first for altitude, as demonstrated by the beauty of the hilly and piedmont landscape typical of the upper Brianza". "People are investing in our territory thanks also to the connections that are being created, such as the Greenway (built with Pnrr and Lombardy Region funds) and the redevelopment of the paths, to allow greater usability of the territory. Worth remembering - continues Corbetta - is the regional law, which I promoted, to encourage horseback tourism, an initiative that starts from the comparison with the equestrian centers of the territory to increase and strengthen rural tourism". Since 2019, the Pozzoli administration has invested in the issues of agriculture and the agritourism development of the territory, "and the presence in Besana of a fifth of the agritourisms of the whole Brianza proves us right and demonstrates how our vision and our development actions in this sector are successful". In Besana the recognized structures are Cascina Sbianca , Cascina Bressanella, apicoltura dell'Orto, Brusignone farm and Agrodolce farm. Mayor Emiliano Pozzoli adds: "In addition to a splendid territory, Besana is full of entrepreneurs, mostly young people. This is why we have so many agricultural companies. The Municipality works to support them and provide companies with infrastructure". The Greenway is a system of cycle and pedestrian paths designed to make travel easier and more sustainable. The route offers spectacular views, crossing hills, woods and green areas.
